Gracias a la Vida. Exhibition Tournfluß 7 - Bruxelles 2017 with Christophe Massé, La Louve Heureuse and Jonathan Vandenheuvel

exhibitions 2017

Between Argentina and Chile, the passage from one side of the border to the other marks a brutal change: from the brown and dusty aridity on the Argentinian side, we pass to a luxuriant and humid vegetation on the Chilean side. The Pacific carries spray and clouds which come crashing against the sides of the cordillera.

The air fills with water.

The horse feels this change long before its rider.

Brown and earthy shades rock into deep, dense greens.

Throughout this journey, links will be established around the figures of San Martín, Violetta Parra and Edgar Degas.

Tournfluß 7 Brussels on 28-29 April 2017

Bridges between several countries and artists, a project of superimposed photographic wanderings in collaboration with Jonathan Vandenheuvel, self-portraits by Christophe Massé on pink ballet flats, an Andean poncho, oils and engravings by Patrice de Santa Coloma, words and songs by Violeta Parra interpreted by Felisa Cereceda and Ylva Berg of La Louve Heureuse.
